Plain and simple. I love cooking and everything about it; the ingredients (where they come from, what they are, how they are made), the techniques, the tools, the recipes (you should see the binders full of magazine recipes that I have clipped out!) and the history or culture of a particular food.
I love talking about cooking and sharing any experiential wisdom that I have come to gain in the kitchen. I enjoy hearing other’s trials and tribulations in the kitchen and contributing my own. I look forward to many such discussions on this blog.
DISCLAIMER: I am not a chef. I am not responsible for any loss of fingers or toes, kitchen fires, meal mishaps, etc by those attempting recipes or techniques here on Shalon’s Kitchen.
